Current home screen

The basics are up at top - Clock, Calendar, Contacts (calendar and contacts synced with Google ActiveSync), and Safari. I think these are self-explanatory.

Then we have Camera Plus Pro. Trying this app out for replacement camera app, and it is doing the job nicely so far. I used to have Snapture here but have moved that to the rest of my camera/photography apps in order to use this app more (and do a review!). Photos is next to it for easy access to my pics. The default weather app serves me fine, despite trying out a few weather apps. I guess I just like the simplicity of the default Weather. Then iTunes and App Store for shopping.

Settings has to be on the main screen, so I have it after all the default apps (except Camera Plus Pro). Then we get to the third party apps that I think deserve spots on home screens everywhere. qStatus for easy update firing to Twitter and Facebook simultaneously. Facebook app to keep track of all my friends and events. Reeder because it’s the sexiest RSS app for the iPhone, period. 2do for a great interface but also a powerful task manager. Pastebot for the amazingly sleek UI and practicality of copy&paste data management. Simplenote because it’s everything the default Notes app should have been.

Then the Dock. Phone (duh), email is a must, SMS and MMS is also a must for me (I still have people that send MMS, believe it or not, email has not taken over everything), and Tweetie. Oh god, Tweetie. The app I could never ever live without. It keeps me connected to my Internet life. Love it forever! What’s on your home screen?
